Rebecca Wise-Eklund's journey began over 25 years ago as a camp counselor at an Easter Seals summer camp, and it sparked her lifelong passion for supporting individuals with diverse abilities. She earned a bachelor’s in elementary education and a master’s in curriculum and instruction, followed by 15 years of teaching both general and special education, plus serving in a variety of roles in schools and communities. She's a COPAA-trained advocate, but it’s not just her professional experience that shapes her approach—Rebecca is also a parent and stepparent of neurodiverse children. She knows the worries and challenges you face because she’s been there herself. With Rebecca, you’ll find a warm, compassionate advocate who truly understands and is here to support you. But don't let her slight southern drawl and hospitality confuse you, she's strategic and thorough and you'll be glad she's got your back.
